Description
The Dalmore 1967 Sirius is a single cask whisky from cask #2055 selected by Mahesh Patel and bottled by Sirius Whisky Purveyors.
Mahesh Patel is a legend in fine whisky circles and is known for his expert navigation and bottling of the finest examples of whisky from around the world. The iconic Sirius labels and timeless bottle design are instantly recognizable even in the largest of collections. While it is fair to say that you cannot go wrong with any Sirius bottling, this 44 year old Dalmore is quite exceptional and is heralded as perhaps the definitive bottling of Dalmore.

Dalmore distillery was used as a deep-sea mine production centre by the Royal Navy between 1917 and 1920. After the navy departed, the distillery was left in disarray, and - after a long compensation battle involving the House of Lords - the distillery was brought back from being mothballed in 1922.
The standard range includes 12, 15, 18, and 25 years old plus no age statement expressions like King Alexander III, Cigar Malt and luxury expressions such as the Constellation Range.
Family owned for over 80 years between 1878 and 1960, The Dalmore distillery is now owned and operated by Whyte & Mackay.
