Description

This is a limited edition of the Glasgow 1770 Peated. The inscription on the bottle and box reads "uisge beatha" which in Gaelic means "water of life", this is what whisky is called in Scottish Gaelic. Crafted with the finest malted barley which has been smoked with the aromatic heather-rich peat of the Scottish Highlands; combined with the exceptionally pure water of Loch Katrine and distilled in traditional copper pot stills. Matured in virgin oak and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, this is a smoky single malt with outstanding character.
