Description

The oldest Macallan ever placed into a bottle, The Macallan 72 Year old housed in The Genesis Decanter by Lalique Crystal is perhaps the most handcrafted and diligently crafted whiskies ever created.

Its ethos of creation was summarised by Ken Grier - Creative Director of Macallan - as, ‘a celebration of the collaboration of masters from across the fields of whisky, crystal, architecture, construction and craftsmanship’, and no explanation as to the origin of such a whisky could encapsulate it better.

Limited to only 600 bottled and housed in a handmade case inspired by the interior of the new distillery, designed by Burgess Studio and handcrafted by cabinet maker NEJ Stevenson, Macallan has celebrated the completion of their new distillery in true style.
