Description
The Macallan Edition No. 1 has recently shot up in value due to the recent release of the final bottle in the series, the Edition No. 6. One of the whisky unicorns of 2020 increasing in value by over 50% at auction.
The first whisky in Macallan's limited-edition Editions series, No. 1 is a combination of whiskies matured in European and American oak casks. Aromas of mocha, brown sugar, spicy ginger and oak fill the nose, while the palate offers notes of raisins, dried citrus peel, dark chocolate and vegetal oak.
