Description
This is a limited edition of the Glasgow 1770 Peated. The inscription on the bottle and box reads "uisge beatha" which in Gaelic means "water of life", this is what whisky is called in Scottish Gaelic.
Handcrafted in copper pot stills, Tara and Mhairi, Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky – The Original combines the finest Scottish barley and the exceptionally pure water of Loch Katrine to create the finest spirit.
Matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks, finished in virgin oak and non-chill filtered; Glasgow 1770 'The Original' is incredibly smooth, exceptionally fruity and complex; a single malt of sublime quality that continues the rise of a new whisky era in Glasgow.
