Description
This sensational Speysider was laid to sleep at the Glenfarclas distillery in 1979 and bottled almost three decades later for the highly regarded The Family Casks series on the 17th July 2008.
Filled from plain hogshead number 2216 at 50.6% ABV, this is one of only 171 very limited bottles that are highly coveted and lauded.
This is the third release in this special Glenfarclas batch from 1979 that scored a huge 91 points with the WhiskyFun folks and is supplied in pristine condition with original wooden presentation case.
